Artist and designer turning movement into living visuals

I'm an artist and creative technologist specializing in Responsive Urban Environments. Trained as a dancer at the Victorian College of the Arts, I bridge movement design, urban data, and creative programming to make smart cities intelligible.

I make the invisible visible—turning cold data into living urban narratives for architecture firms, city councils, and cultural precincts. My work has engaged over 2 million citizens at events like BLINK Cincinnati, proving that digital infrastructure can be beautiful, legible, and human at scale. I believe in systems thinking, artistic integrity, and making sophisticated concepts comprehensible to everyone.

Philosophy

How I work

Research

Since 2023, I've been conducting independent research into how design and technology can make sophisticated dance knowledge accessible to diverse audiences. This research framework—"Make Dance Comprehensible"—explores how systematic design can translate embodied choreographic knowledge into accessible formats without losing artistic integrity.

Each commissioned project contributes to this research while solving immediate client needs. I investigate how computational systems can interpret human movement, treating dance not as a visual effect, but as a structured language that can make smart cities intelligible and urban data human.

Design

Design is the vehicle for making complex systems accessible. I prioritize clarity and impact, stripping away decorative elements to reveal the underlying logic of the work. Every pixel, every frame, and every interaction is meticulously crafted to support the core narrative.

The goal is always to make the invisible visible, the abstract tangible. Whether visualizing urban data flows or translating choreographic principles, I ensure that technology serves the art and the community—not the other way around. This approach has proven effective at scale, engaging millions of citizens through installations that are both beautiful and intelligible.
